Cribs 2 Crayons Nursery and Kindergarten School located in Cuffe Parade was founded in 2015 by Ashita Gupta who wanted the children to receive individual attention while learning in a pleasant environment

Head of School

Mrs. Ashita Gupta, a passionate early childhood educator, and a commerce graduate has teaching experience in excess of 20 years, both inside and outside the classroom. Herself a Montessorian, she began with “Kangaroo Kids” prior to obtaining a diploma from the Association Montessori Internationale. Subsequent to this, she taught in the infant department of Activity Infant School. Her immediate preceding six-year experience of administering “Headstart, Cuffe Parade” has given her a rich understanding of running and organizing a preschool.

 An experienced teacher, proficient in early childhood education with an insightful understanding of children’s behavior and child psychology, she has created an enhanced curriculum for the students. Her suggested changes in the curriculum have not only been well accepted but incorporated in various activities practiced in the course.

Mrs. Gupta believes that discipline and knowledge cannot be imposed upon therefore it is important to engage children in purposeful activities through which they learn with reason. This, according to her, brings about an impactful learning experience one that the child not only practices in day-to-day life but also makes a favorable impression on his/her peers.

Our mission is to make every child a lifelong learner and for this, we will provide the right environment to enable them to be self-motivated, encourage decision making and arm them with the right attitude to take on the competitiveness and challenges they would face going forward.
